Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Last week, a team from TL Dallas plus friends and family, conquered the Three Peaks Challenge in memory of Elizabeth Carter, raising funds for TLD Charitable Trust.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24½ mile route which takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, part of the Pennine range, and encircles the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.  The Challenge includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent. The Three Peaks Challenge is to attempt to complete all three peaks in under 12 hours. The fastest time was 9 hours 28 minutes which was spectacular but all those who conquered all 3 peaks rose to the challenge of completing in under 12 hours!

What an achievement!

And not only that, the team raised £10,036.59 for the TLD Charitable Trust in the process. TL Dallas will match this amount meaning the contribution to the Trust will be in excess of £20,000 plus additional funds added through gift aid.
