Financial Services Administrator

Permanent, full-time position

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

 

The role is to provide additional administrative support to two IFAs and carry out general office duties. 

Job Description
• Processing new business applications (pension/investment/protection)
• Preparing meeting packs
• Liaising with 3rd party providers
• Producing valuations
• Answering the telephone
• Dealing with client adminstration e.g. withdrawals, fund switches etc and updating the relevant records
 
Essential Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years working within the Financial Services sector including relevant work experience
• An understanding of the financial planning process
• A general knowledge of pensions, investments and protection
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Flexible and helpful approach to work
• A willingness to follow business processes, procedures, and work to targets and deadlines
• The ability to work independently
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively
• IT skills – word, excel, outlook and the internet
• Being able to use a back office data base
