Fire, Specified Perils, Theft, Accidental Damage, Book Debts, Money, Glass, & Business Interruption, Bookfairs, Trade fairs, Exhibitions, Temporary Locations, Post/Courier services & Defective Title, Employers Liability, Public Liability, Products Liability & Terrorism

Summary of Cover
Please refer to the Schedule for individual details of the Summary of cover applicable to you, together with details of any Policy excess applicable.

• Claim settlement up to 100% of stock retail value
• Full theft cover (shoplifting)
• Cover for stock in unattended vehicles
• “Pair & Sets” clause to client’s advantage 
• Glass shop fronts - no limit or excess
• Stock at bookbinders/auction houses/other locations
• Defective title – for bookdealers
• Loss of value following damage
• Business Interruption at twice the stock value
• No excess on most policy sections
• Cancellation of Bookfairs – out of pocket expenses given
• No need for post or bookfair declarations
• Cover for stock immediately upon purchase
• Book Debts up to £10,000
• Post/ Courier losses – invoice price settlement – no excess
• £5 million Limit of indemnity for Public/Products Liability

Significant Exclusions/Limitations

• Losses discovered solely at stocktaking
• Mildew, moth, vermin, damp or any gradually operating cause
• Water damage to stock in basements stored below 15cms from floor level
